Welcome to the Edinburgh Interactive Entertainment Festival 2006!

Edinburgh offers one thing in particular above all other industry events  - a unique networking opportunity for those who are truly passionate about games.

The festival is now firmly established as one of the most important events in the interactive entertainment industry’s calendar. Each year since its inception, the EIEF has listened to its constituents, brainstormed new ideas and evolved. EIEF06 is no exception. My intention is preserve the spirit of festivals gone by, but also add some new elements in order to keep the event fresh and interesting. We’ve refreshed the conference format, maximised networking opportunities and have compressed the “end to end” time to keep attendance costs as economic as possible.

However, the fundamental objectives remain - those of creating an atmosphere where the interactive computer and video games community can celebrate the latest creative milestones, challenge themselves to set ever higher standards of innovation, and to share that vision with the public.
